You’re invited on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. for a blended worship service of traditional hymns with today’s contemporary favorites. Coffee and popcorn are offered before the service every Sunday. We encourage you to come early to enjoy this time of fellowship.
Families are invited to begin worship together. After the Kid’s Message, those in 4k- 5th grade will be excused to join their teachers for Sunday School. We also have a nursery for the littles. All volunteers have completed background checks and MinistrySafe training.

Rev. Derek Street is honored to serve as the newly appointed Lead Pastor of Point Hope Church. A lifelong servant of Christ and His Church, Derek brings a rich background of faith, family, and ministry to this new role.
Derek holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from Western Carolina University and has faithfully served in and led music ministry for more than 23 years. He is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Christian Ministries at Asbury Theological Seminary, deepening his theological training and pastoral formation.

Point Hope is excited to announce that we will begin volunteering at God's Goods on Hwy 17 in Mount Pleasant (former Sweetgrass Ace Hardware). Shifts are 9 a.m. -1 p.m. and 1- 5 p.m. Because of the partnership, we were awarded $10,000 for our youth/students ministry! We’re excited to kick-off our second year of After School Academy! Registration for Fall 2026 opens April 13th! We offer a $50 referral discount for current families/their friends who sign up! A mission of Point Hope is helping with the Holy City Missions weekly To-Go Soup Kitchen. We collect items on the Missions Shelf to fulfill the ingredients needed each month. We then prepare a meal that will be served the second Monday of each month. If you would like to help prepare the meal, there is a sign-up sheet on the blue table in the Gathering Hall.

Point Hope was established in 2002 in response to the population growth of northern Mount Pleasant.
