Our “angels” from Charles Pickney Elementary School will be available on the Angel Tree next Sunday, Dec. 1. Gifts are due to the church by Thursday, Dec. 12th at noon.
Carols & Praise Service
Join us on Sunday, Dec. 15th for a special Carols & Praise service featuring Point Hope's choir, praise team and handbell choir. It is sure to get you in the holiday spirit!
Christmas Eve Activities and Services
Christmas Eve Live Nativity, Bounce House and Birthday Cake for Jesus
Point Hope Church is hosting a FREE event on Tuesday, Dec. 24 featuring a live nativity with dress-up costumes and animals. There will be a camel, donkey, and sheep for the perfect Christmas photo. Other activities include a bounce house and birthday cake-cutting for Jesus. The event starts at 1:00 p.m.
Immediately following the festivities will be our contemporary, family candlelight service at 3:00 p.m. We also offer a traditional service at 5:00 p.m. All are invited to attend!
Please follow the sidewalk to access the rear lawn. Some activities are weather permitting. Overflow parking is available at the Park West Recreation Center. From there, please follow the path around the pond which will lead you directly to the church.

Millions of women and children continue to walk more than three miles to collect their family's daily water needs. But there is hope. Since 2007, the Walk for Water in Charleston has brought safe water and God's love to thousands of people in need. This year, we will join together to bring clean, safe water to more than 14,000 people in need around the world. We walk, so others don’t have to.

All Saints' Sunday
We lift up those who joined the Church Triumphant. Please bring a candle and a framed picture of a loved one who has passed away this year. Candles will be lit in their memory.

Global Methodist Church of South Carolina Clergy Meeting
Point Hope Church was chosen as the location for this year's GMC of SC Clergy Meeting on Thursday, Oct. 10th and Friday, Oct. 11th. Clergy from all across the State of South Caroline will be attending. We will need some volunteers to help with refreshments and a few other hosting responsibilities during the event. Sleepers in September
It is September, which means we are collecting sleepers in sizes newborn through 18 months for Newborn’s In Need’s “Sleepers in September” campaign. Please put them on the designated Mission Shelf in the Gathering Hall through the end of the month.
Well F.E.D. (Fellowship. Encouragement. Discipleship.) Wednesdays
At Point Hope, we have Connection Groups for everyone! If you’d like to join a group or have any questions, please reach out to Connection Group Coordinator Lynn Jennette . On Wednesdays, you’re invited to Well F.E.D (Fellowship. Encouragement. Discipleship.) for supper from 5-6 p.m. and groups beginning at 6 p.m. It is a suggested donation of $5 pp or $10 per family. If you have never joined a group, it's not too late! Childcare is available.

Well F.E.D. Wednesday Connection Groups and Dinner-Summer Session
Our Summer Session of Well F.E.D. Wednesdays will start back on June 19th. If you have not attended in the past, it’s a great time to join a group! We have groups for younger and older adults, kids and middle school students. Supper is from 5-6 p.m. and groups start at 6 p.m. For more information about joining or leading a group, reach out to Connection Group Coordinator Lynn Jennette.
Petting Zoo featuring Baby Chicks, Bunnies, and Goats & Adoptable Dogs/Puppies from Charleston Animal Society
Join us following our Contemporary Worship Service for photo ops and petting zoo featuring baby bunnies, goats, and chicks from All Thing Acre!
We will also have dogs and puppies available for adoption from the Charleston Animal Society!
Live Nativity
Point Hope Church, located at 3404 Turgot Lane in north Mount Pleasant, is offering a FREE event featuring a Live Nativity on church grounds on Sunday, Dec. 24, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. The interactive display will feature a donkey, camel, sheep and other animals. Please follow the sidewalk along either side of the church to access the rear lawn where families and friends can spend time with animals, taking photos and enjoy a hot cup of cocoa.
Immediately following the Live Nativity will be our family-focused Christmas Eve GLOW service at 3:00 p.m. We also offer a traditional, candlelight service at 5:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Advent at Point Hope
This holiday season we are celebrating The Best Christmas Ever at Point Hope Church. Advent starts on Sunday, Nov. 26th with 9:30 a.m. services through Sunday, Dec. 17th. On December 17th we will have our special Christmas Cantata.
Christmas Eve services will be at 3:00 p.m. which is a fun, contemporary service for families. At 5:00 p.m. we will have a traditional candlelight service.
Services are open to anyone! We would love to have visit Point Hope this season.
Healing & Prayer Service
You are invited to stay immediately after the service as we pray for healing. This is open to anyone, but especially those who seek healing through prayer.
American Red Cross Blood Drive
We will be hosting an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Wednesday, September 30th from 12 noon to 5 p.m. at the church in the Gathering Hall. They are anticipating losing up to 7,000 units of blood between September-December because of school plan changes with colleges and high schools. Those drives help make up 20% of blood supply, so we are so appreciative of your support in helping us save lives!
Easter at Point Hope
