Point Hope Church, located at 3404 Turgot Lane in Mount Pleasant, is hosting a FREE event on Wednesday, Dec. 24 featuring a live nativity with dress-up costumes and animals from All Things Acre Petting Zoo. Guests are invited to celebrate Jesus’s birthday with cake and coffee. The event starts at 1:00 p.m. Immediately following the festivities will be the church will host a contemporary, candlelight service at 3:00 p.m. and a traditional, candlelight service at 5:00 p.m. All are invited to attend! 

Overflow parking is available at the Park West Recreation Center.  From there, please follow the path around the pond which will lead you directly to the church. Every Sunday, the church offers a blended worship service at 9:30 a.m. For more information, please call 843-971-6377

We are now accepting applications for the Point Hope Scholarship. The Point Hope Scholarship program was established to support, reward and encourage students who are, or have been, active in Point Hope Church programs to attend college and/or continue a candidacy for a degree at an educational institution or seminary.  For information on criteria and an application, please email the church office or Scholarship Committee Chair Jack Sprott Applications are due April 30th.

Millions of women and children continue to walk more than three miles to collect their family's daily water needs. But there is hope. Since 2007, the Walk for Water in Charleston has brought safe water and God's love to thousands of people in need. This year, we will join together to bring clean, safe water to more than 14,000 people in need around the world. We walk, so others don’t have to.

Ash Wednesday is March 5th. Point Hope will have a service at 5:30 p.m. with imposition of ashes and communion. Following the service, everyone is invited to a light supper and a peek at what the ALPHA course is like (video/discussion). Even if you haven’t been attending this session, you are invited!

Christmas Eve Live Nativity, Bounce House and Birthday Cake for Jesus

Point Hope Church is hosting a FREE event on Tuesday, Dec. 24 featuring a live nativity with dress-up costumes and animals. There will be a camel, donkey, and sheep for the perfect Christmas photo. Other activities include a bounce house and birthday cake-cutting for Jesus. The event starts at 1:00 p.m.

 Immediately following the festivities will be our contemporary, family candlelight service at 3:00 p.m.  We also offer a traditional service at 5:00 p.m. All are invited to attend! 

 Please follow the sidewalk to access the rear lawn. Some activities are weather permitting. Overflow parking is available at the Park West Recreation Center.  From there, please follow the path around the pond which will lead you directly to the church.  

Join us on Sunday, Dec. 15th for a special Carols & Praise service featuring Point Hope's choir, praise team and handbell choir. It is sure to get you in the holiday spirit! 

This is a celebration of all of the ministry areas at Point Hope. All are invited.

We lift up those who joined the Church Triumphant. Please bring a candle and a framed picture of a loved one who has passed away this year. Candles will be lit in their memory.
