Our Team
Rev. Elizabeth Sullivan
Pastor
Pastor Sullivan is a native of South Carolina. She grew up in Aiken, South Carolina and attended UNC School for the Arts where she received a bachelor’s degree in music. She obtained her master’s degree in education from The University of Charleston. Elizabeth received a call to full-time ministry while she traveled around the country with her husband, Col. Robert Sullivan, who served as an orthopedic surgeon in the United States Air Force. She attended Duke Divinity, Denver Seminary, Fuller Theological Seminary. and graduated with her master’s degree in divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary.
“It was God’s idea, not mine. Over the years I have come to understand that the Holy Spirit gifts people for leadership within the church and this gifting often happens to the people that we least expect. The Bible is full of examples like this and I am one of the least of these - for sure. For me it is not so much about being Pastor Elizabeth or Reverend Sullivan, it is about knowing that whatever title I might hold, the most significant title I have is Child of God,” says Sullivan.
