This November, Pastor Derek Street will lead us in the generosity series, “Freely Received, Freely Given.” We will hear from members of the congregation and respond to God’s call with our 2026 Commitment on Consecration Sunday, Nov. 23rd. This worship service will be followed by “Friendsgiving,” please bring a dish to share.
We offer groups for everyone! We have two women’s Bible studies on Tuesdays, Project Refresh on Wednesday, Men’s Bible Study on Thursday followed by JOY in the Morning and our Prayer Shawl Ministry. For more information about Connection Groups offered at Point Hope Church go to Connect.
You’re invited to “Project Refresh” on Wednesdays beginning November 5th! Meet at 6:15 for supper and bring a main/side to share! Groups for kids/students, young adults and middle-aged adults are 6:45-7:45 p.m. A nursery will be provided for young children. Please RSVP by noon on Tuesday if you plan to bring a child for the nursery. “You refresh and renew me, showing me the right way to live…” Psalm 23:3
We are so excited to offer this new ministry! Beginning with the fall semester of the 2025-2025 school year, Point Hope Church will host a limited number of students in grades kindergarten through second. Students will ride Bus #209 from Laurel Hill Primary to the church and arrive at approximately 2:54 p.m. Click here for more information.
A mission of Point Hope is helping with the Holy City Missions weekly To-Go Soup Kitchen. We collect items on the Missions Shelf to fulfill the ingredients needed each month. We then prepare a meal that will be served the second Monday of each month. If you would like to help prepare the meal, there is a sign-up sheet on the blue table in the Gathering Hall.

Point Hope was established in 2002 in response to the population growth of northern Mount Pleasant.
Our doors are always open to anyone seeking a place to worship, connect and serve. We strive to create a warm and inviting environment at Point Hope and that everyone who walks through our doors feels God’s presence.
Point Hope is a place where individuals and families can discover the love of God, the grace of Jesus Christ and the presence of the Holy Spirit.
